The meal was delicious with a tasty Moroccan soup as a starter and a very good lamb tagine. It’s super filling since you get a big couscous as a second course. Drinks are not included. Mint tea is really, really good. The show after the meal is really nice. We’re sorry we didn’t get the fireworks as advertised. The decor is magical. A must-do dinner show in Marrakech.

The show is big and theatrical; however, it leans toward tourist entertainment. The food is okay, though not haute cuisine. On the other hand, the performers were committed and the atmosphere lively. If you want an energetic evening, it’s worth it; otherwise, pick a quieter dinner experience in the medina.
One of the best cultural nights in Marrakech

We went to Chez Ali looking for a lively night out, and indeed we found much more than we expected. First, the fantasia riders entered dramatically, and the crowd cheered. Next, musicians played traditional instruments while dancers twirled in colorful costumes. Then, our table was served with generous portions of couscous and tagine that tasted authentic. Meanwhile, staff were attentive and explained Moroccan dining customs to us kindly. Moreover, the pacing of the show kept us engaged throughout the evening. Also, lighting and staging created a cinematic feel that boosted every scene. In addition, parking and transfers were easy to arrange through our riad. Therefore, this made the whole evening stress-free and joyful. Finally, we left with great photos and lasting memories.

The dinner followed with rich tagines and fresh salads, and furthermore the staff explained each dish. In addition, the live music and dancers made the whole night unforgettable. Overall, highly recommended for visitors who want an iconic Moroccan evening.

A tourist classic — lively but crowded

The event is intentionally theatrical, and guess what — it works. The dancers were energetic and the horses spectacular. Nevertheless, the venue filled up fast and at times it felt crowded. Still, the show is a classic and the dinner was good value for what you get.
